Spring Dance Show /Central event/
The Dancing University Project presents the Autumn Dance Show 2010, where the dance groups of the University of Pécs introduce themselves with a new choreography that they have learnt during the previous semester's dance course. Before and after the event you can register for this semester's dance courses. Come and enjoy the dance! All the performers will do their best to entertain you! After the show there will be a free dance lesson for those who are interested!

We only accept complete and legible application forms in chronological order of their arrival. Your registration for the course is only valid if you come to the first session!
Prices
For students and staff of the University of Pécs (UP):
- If you have never before participated in a Dancing University course, one course is for free.
- If it is not your first Dancing University course, one course costs HUF 3,000.
For non-UP citizens:
- Each course costs HUF 4,500.

Blossoming Almond Trees Science Days
The University of Pécs will organise its traditional “Blossoming Almond Trees” Science Days in March. This event will give a chance to outstanding teachers and scholars to present their work. The topics of the conference series will be introduced by internationally renowned scholars, artists, and public figures.

Inauguration of New Honorary Doctors
You are warmly welcome to the Festive Senate Meeting, where you can be present at the announcement and of the following honorary doctors: Antti Piippo (on behalf of the Pollack Mihály Faculty of Engineering), Gerhard Pieschl(on behalf of the Faculty of Adult Education and Human Management Resources), Norbert Lammert (on behalf of the Faculty of Law), Peter Möhringer (on behalf of the Pollack Mihály Faculty of Engineering), Sveinung Lunde (on behalf of the Medical School) and András Zempléni (on behalf of the Faculty of Humanities). They will give short inaugural addresses:
- Antii Piippo (founder of Elcoteq - in English)
- Gerhard Pieschl (honorary bishop - in German)
- Norbert Lammert (social scientist, president of the German Parliament - in German)
- Peter Möhringer (professor of Fachhochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt - in German)
- Sveinung Lunde (education and health politician - in German)
- András Zempléni (cultural anthropologist - in Hungarian)
Habilitated doctoral degrees will be conferred as well.
